Delete your LU account

LU by LU Labs

Your LU account is one account for the LU app on Android and iPhone, the LU desktop app and lu-labs.ai. Deleting it in one place deletes it everywhere, right away. It cannot be undone.

In the LU app

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap your account at the top. If you are signed out, sign in first.
3. Tap Delete account, then Delete my account.
4. Type DELETE and tap Delete account.

On the web, without the app

1. Sign in at lu-labs.ai/login with the email address, Google or GitHub sign in you use in the app.
2. Open lu-labs.ai/account.
3. Under Danger zone, choose Delete account.
4. Type your email address and choose Permanently delete.

Signed in to the app with Apple, or cannot sign in any more? Delete the account in the app, or write to hello@lu-labs.ai and we delete it for you once we have confirmed the account is yours.

What is deleted

• Your account, your email address and your sign in, including sign in with Apple, Google or GitHub.
• A running subscription. It is cancelled first, so nothing is charged again.
• Your plan and any credits that are left.
• Images, video and audio you made on LU Cloud, the files you uploaded for them, and characters you trained.
• Memories and chat history synced to your account, your username and your API keys.
• The connection to GitHub, if you made one: the LU app on your GitHub account is removed.

What is kept

• Invoices and payment records. Our payment processor keeps them for as long as tax and commercial law require, and we cannot delete them there.
• A record that a subscription was cancelled, with the payment processor’s reference and without your email address.
• Messages you sent us through the feedback form or by email. Write to us if you want them deleted too.
• Everything that never was on the account: chats, models and settings on your phone or computer stay there until you remove them or the app.
